Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA/SDET Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, test automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on business requirements and user stories.
- Execute automated tests, analyze test results, and identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and troubleshooting efforts to resolve issues and ensure product quality.
- Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and QA trends to continuously improve our testing practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Good experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
